In it's broadest sense, what we call fuel, whether it is batteries, or fossil fuel, most forms of power that we use to move ourselves and power our lives, is really just a storage medium. The batteries store electrons in it's medium of metals and liquids, and oil stores the collected solar energy of a cooked and compressed medium of organic material.
Charging your electric vehicle is usually a simple and straightforward process, but there are a few tips that will help you avoid some expensive problems. The worst of which is when a "smart" charger goes dumb.
Todays chargers are smaller and lighter than the mammoth boxes of yesteryear.
Our first tip is to always plug the vehicle side in first, and then into the wall outlet. This way you are not plugging the charger into the scooter when it is live. This may not hurt anything, but it could cause an arc and startle you as well as burn the male terminals of the charger port.
